Travel Insurance

Travel

Whether you are travelling abroad or within the UK, we can arrange cover with a travel insurer, ensuring you are totally protected.

While travel can be very exciting, it can be extremely stressful if an accident occurs or misfortune strikes. For this reason, we recommend you ensure you are adequately insured when you travel, whether in the UK, in Europe or worldwide.

We have many years’ experience arranging travel insurance for clients, and can advise on the level of cover you require. We can arrange the optimum solution for you, based on your individual requirements, ensuring help is always on hand should you need it.

As required, we can provide annual multi-trip, short trip, long stay or group travel, ensuring you are protected against such mishaps as accident, injury, illness, hospitalisation, theft, cancellation or delay or repatriation.

We can also arrange specialist insurance, providing cover for winter sports, travel over 65, an existing medical condition or an extended trip that includes golf or business equipment.

We are happy to arrange cover over the phone on 0141 951 4100. Alternatively, to avoid a £20 arrangement fee, you can obtain a quotation online by clicking below:

Online quoting is temporarily unavailable.  Please contact Belinda Doherty on 0141 951 2872 to obtain a quotation

BIBA Travel Medical Directory

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has launched a Travel Medical Directory for people with serious pre-existing medical conditions.  If you have been offered a policy with a medical condition premium of £100 or more or have been declined cover for your medical condition(s), you may wish to visit the new Directory.  The firms listed on the Directory are approved specialist providers, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

For telephone enquiries, please call BIBA’s call centre on 0370 950 1790, which is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, or click here to be re-directed to the Directory.

Alternatively please visit The Money Advice Service

(If you have purchased your policy online and are unhappy with the product or the service you received, you can use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution service to make a complaint.  The purpose of this platform is to identify a suitable Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider and we expect that this will be the Financial Ombudsman Service. Please be aware that the Financial Ombudsman Service will only be able to consider your complaint after the insurers have had the opportunity to consider and resolve this.)
